Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ProspectPin and the services available at prospectpin.com. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

ProspectPin provides a tool that allows users to search Google Maps for business listings and export the results as a CSV file. The data returned includes publicly available information such as business names, phone numbers, email addresses, websites, and addresses.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ProspectPin. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@prospectpin.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account with others or allow multiple people to use a single account. Each user must have their own account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plans

ProspectPin is available on a subscription basis. Plan details including pricing and usage limits are described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the service until that date.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at support@prospectpin.com for a full refund. After this period, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

Usage limits

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of places (business listings). Unused places do not roll over to the following month. If you exceed your limit, searches will be blocked until your allowance resets at the start of your next billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use ProspectPin only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

• Use the service to collect data for spam, harassment, or unsolicited mass messaging
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automation, scripts, or other means
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or data obtained through it without our written permission
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations including data protection laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the service
• Use the service to build a competing product
• Scrape or otherwise extract data from the ProspectPin platform itself beyond normal use

6. Data and privacy

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The business data returned by ProspectPin searches is sourced from publicly available Google Maps listings. You are responsible for ensuring your use of this data complies with applicable laws including GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and any relevant anti-spam legislation.

7. Intellectual property

ProspectPin and all associated branding, software, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

ProspectPin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that search results will be complete or accurate.

We do not guarantee that email addresses or phone numbers returned in search results are valid, current, or belong to the business in question.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProspectPin and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the site. Your continued use of ProspectPin after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
